Biography

Stephen Mock is a Mechanical Engineer in the Extreme Environment Robotics Group (347C) at JPL. He is currently working on the Mars Sample Return mission, specifically part of the Capture, Containment, and Return System (CCRS) where he will be supporting testbed design and operation. During his time as a co-op, he worked on initial CCRS testbeds design, Mars Sample Return Handling CONOPS, CCRS Robotic Transfer Arm System (RTAS), and RTAS end effector design.

Prior to JPL he worked at SharkNinja and iRobot developing next-gen robotic consumer products.
