Matt Gildner is an engineer in the Extreme Environment Robots group at JPL. His areas of experience include the mechanical, electrical and software design of marine vehicles and sensors.
Since joining JPL in 2013, he has worked on tasks related to the mechanical design of actuators and vision systems that are deployed in marine environments. In 2013, he received his M.S. in ocean engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His graduate worked focused on environmental monitoring using autonomous surface vehicles.
