Software Systems Architect

Biography

Emily Newman is a Software Systems Architect working with the Robot Operations Group (347K). She is currently the Ground Data Systems lead for the CADRE lunar mission. She has also worked on simulation and visualization tools for MSL and Mars 2020, and she is a Rover Planner for MSL. Previously, she worked on the Mars 2020 EDL visualization, which was broadcast to the public during the Mars 2020 landing activity.
