Biography

Pete joined the Robotic Manipulation & Sampling group at JPL in August, 2014.

Graduate School

Before JPL, Pete completed his Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology where he held a Graduate Research Assistantship, during which he was a main team member of their Darpa Robotics Challenge team, Hubo, and co-operated the robot during the semi-finals in Miami, FL. His team was responsible for three tasks: Rubble-clearing, Door-opening and wall-drilling. The focus of his Masters was robotics software and control systems. He gained a lot of hands-on experience with whole robotics systems.
