Steven Flores is the Business Manager for the Mobility and Robotic Systems Section (347) of the Autonomous Systems Division (34). As the Business Administration Manager, Steven is responsible for the provision of business services to Section 347 personnel. He accomplishes this with the support of his Business Operations team consisting of secretarial and administrative staff. Steven is responsible for the planning and management of the Section, Business Operations and training budgets. Additionally, Steven is the internal point of contact to managers, supervisors and staff members on matters including but not limited to: employee relations, salary management, workforce planning, environmental health and safety compliance, fulfillment of training requirements, procurement of good and services, property and asset management and Quarterly/MMR reporting.

Steven was previously an Administrator for the Flight System Avionics Section (345). Prior to JPL, Steven spent many years in the restaurant industry managing units with an annual sales volume ranging from $2 to $10 million. His most recent stint was with the Cheesecake Factory in Pasadena, one of the most successful casual dining concepts in the nation. His background includes extensive experience in finance, human resources, inventory management, environmental health & safety, acquisitions, facilities, property management and IT Security.
