Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, 2006, University of California at Santa Cruz

Professional Experience

Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadadena, CA. April 08 to Present.

Hewlett Packard Labs, Palo Alto, CA. June 07 to September 07. (Internship)

Vidient Inc, Sunnyvale, CA. June 06 to September 06. (Internship)

Graduate Student Researcher and Teachers Assitant at UC Santa Cruz. May 05 to March 08 (school terms only).

Research Interests

Computer vision, pattern recognition, and machine learning.

I am interested in the ways in which computer vision are changing with the ubiquity of high-quality, high-resolution sensors that are affordable to the average consumer. I also am interested in learning about ways that large collections of images collected by amateurs can be tapped to allow previously impossible ideas to be developed.
