Education

Ph.D., Aeronautics and Astronautics, Stanford University (2018). Advisor: Prof. Marco Pavone.
M.Sc., Space Engineering, Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino, Milan/Turin, Italy (2013).
B.Sc., Aerospace Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy (2010).

Research Interests

Federicos research focuses on optimal control and distributed decision-making in multi-agent robotic systems, with particular focus on (i) communication-aware computation and control in distributed robotic systems and (ii) centralized coordination, task allocation, and path planning in large-scale multi-robot systems. Applications include robotic planetary exploration and coordination of fleets of self-driving vehicles for autonomous mobility-on-demand in urban environments.
