Biography

Catherine joined the Advanced Robotic Systems group in 2023. Her background is in robotic mobility for extreme environments, beginning with developing robots for mapping volcanic fissures as an intern at JPL and continuing with research into rover mobility, terramechanics, terrain manipulation, and small legged microspine robots during her graduate studies at CMU. Catherine supports multiple projects at JPL as a Robotics Mechanical Engineer.
