The Ocean Worlds Mobility and Sensing (OWMS) task is developing robotics system concepts that would operate on the surface and subsurface of ocean worlds. Mission scenarios being considered include lander proximity science, long range mobility and deep subsurface access. In the current study phase of this effort, concepts are being developed and evaluated with respect to science goals and environmental and mission constraints. A trade study will be performed to select the best approaches to implement for laboratory and field demonstrations.
