Robotics Technologist I

Biography

Gene develops algorithms and systems to enable robust autonomy for manipulation and sampling. Before coming to JPL, he worked in the Biorobotics Lab at Seoul National University, developing smart rehabilitation devices. During his Masters program at Carnegie Mellon University, he developed and tested prosthetic limb hardware and software. He joined the Robotic Manipulation and Sampling group at JPL as a robotics engineer in February 2016.
