Biography (more>>)
Cristina is a robotics software engineer in the Robotic Manipulation and Sampling group. Cristina received an MSE in Robotics and BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, Cristina worked on an autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) for ocean exploration and data gathering. Additionally, her coursework included machine vision and perception, design of mechatronic systems, linear and nonlinear controls, and path planning and control of quadrotors. She is originally from Old Bridge, NJ.
At JPL, Cristina was part of the NASA InSight Instrument Deployment Systems Team. She is currently part of two Unmanned Aerial Vehicle research tasks.
