InSight RSVP is used to assist operators in planning InSight's arm motions and instrument deployments. Prior to send commands to Mars, it is necessary to simulate and visualize the predicted motions of the arm for safety and correctness. RSVP is also used for visualizing the downlink telemetry for assessing the arm performance and placement of the instruments.
