Biography

Jackie is a robotics mechanical engineer in the Extreme Environment Robotics Group at JPL. Jackie received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Ocean Engineering from MIT in 2014. As an undergraduate, she worked on low-cost scalable autonomous underwater gilders, an alternate power source for AUVs that used aluminum and water as fuel and gallium as a working fluid, and suspension component design + manufacturing for an electric formula-style race car. She belonged to MIT’s Marine Robotics Team and MIT’s Formula SAE team.

B.S. in Mechanical and Ocean Engineering (2014), Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Minor in Writing.
