The Google Roots in Science and Education (RISE) Program has selected the Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation (GRAF) as one of 30 organizations worldwide to receive funding in 2013. GRAF was founded in 2011 by JPL Roboticist, Ashitey Trebi-Ollennu.
GRAF is nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to motivating and inspiring the next generation of Ghanaians interest and participation in science and technology. It will will pioneer science education through administering hands-on robotics workshops and competitions throughout Ghana for Junior Secondary Schools, Senior Secondary Schools and Colleges.
