Biography

Junggon Kim is a research technologist in the Robotics Modeling and Simulation Group at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His research interests include robot kinematics and dynamics, motion planning and optimization, and physically-based simulation. Prior to joining JPL, he was a project scientist at Carnegie Mellon University and worked on multiple research projects in the area of robotics and computer graphics. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea, in 1996, 1998 and 2007 respectively.
