COMPLETED RESEARCH TASK

Description:
Under the Biodynotics Program, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has solicited research on biologically inspired, multifunctional, dynamic robotics. JPL is a member of a winning team, led by Boston Dynamics, which is developing a quadruped robot called BigDog. This system can run at high speed and leap over comparatively large obstacles. JPL is providing the vision systems to guide the robot.
