Biography

Michael S. Ryoo is a researcher in the Computer Vision Group at JPL. His research focuses on automated understanding of motion, events, and activities from videos. He has authored various papers on human activity recognition, and has been contributing to the field by publishing a survey paper, providing tutorials at major conferences, and organizing workshops.
