Biography

Michael Hans, originally from Saugerties, NY, earned a Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Aeronautical Engineering Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2015. During completion of these degrees, he worked in the Computational Dynamics Lab at this institution, studying the Divide and Conquer Algorithm for multibody dynamic simulations.
Michael is now a member of the technical staff in the Robotics Modeling and Simulation group at JPL. He primarily works on modeling complex multibody dynamic systems, developing new tools and integrating existing modeling software as necessary.
