Marc Pomerantz is a senior member of technical staff in the Robotic Software Systems Group and is a member of the DARTS Lab team. In support of the DARTS Lab, Marc designs and develops real time multi-mission 3D Visualization and simulation software used by the various projects supported in the DARTS Lab.
Marc was born in Los Angeles CA and when not at JPL, enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, fishing, tinkering with old cars, playing ping pong, reading, camping at the beach and playing rock and blues guitar.

1983-1991 JPL Simulation software for the JESS (now CBS) battle simulation in section 363
1991-1993 Caltech Computer Science Dept. Staff Member. Software development for concurrent C++ research effort.
1992-1993 Consultant Kodak Cinesite. Developed image processing software for motion picture restoration.
1993-2006 Contractor on a variety of projects at JPL including Galileo ground software, AFAST simulation and visualization task (G. Udomkesmalee), Spacecraft trajectory visualization 312.
Dspace design and developement (347)
2005-2006 Consultant Applied Minds, Glendale. Developed UAV planning simulation and distributed visualization using Touch Table input/display devices.
2006-present JPL Senior member technical staff. Design and develop simulation and 3D visualization software as a member of the DARTSLAB team.
