GROUP: Robotic Software Systems (3473)

The Robotic Software Systems Group researches, architects, and implements on-board control and autonomy software for robotic platforms. Target applications span both research and flight domains, including:

  • Robotic software architectures for centralized and distributed systems.
  • Robotic control software for a wide array of system types (e.g. wheeled, legged, tethered, waterborne, submersible, aerial, and hybrid robotic platforms) with autonomous capabilities that combine motion control, mobility, manipulation, planning, navigation, estimation, and vision.
  • Robotic software system expertise to support Research and Flight Project applications and operations.
